I was inspired by the Curvy Chrysanthemum Vase from Anthropologie to create this set of free printable greeting cards. I loved the colors and the style of the vase, so I decided to put my previously created chrysanthemum flower clipart to good use and it became the starting point for this orange and blue card.
Greeting cards have been in vogue since the middle of the 1800’s when they became more widespread and affordable to send. In 1921 it is estimated that already more than 50,000,000 cards were sold in the United States. Cards have always been made for every conceivable occasion with various sentiments. I’ve included a blank version of the greeting card, “happy birthday” and “Happy Mother’s Day” for the upcoming celebration on Sunday, May 13th 2012. Download whichever one suits your fancy below in PDF format for easy printing:
(Each pdf file will create 2 copies of the card when printed on letter paper – cut and score on the center lines.)
